Tea length dresses are now a red-carpet-favorite! We can totally understand the attraction since the length is feminine and reminiscent of the ’60s and completely stumble-proof.

This month, we’ve spotted two celebrities wearing bridal-gown-like tea length dresses and couldn’t help but compare them.

1. Jennifer Lawrence in poufy fit-and-flare gown

The ‘Mockingjay’ actress wore a Christian Dior creation at the premiere of her movie in Los Angeles. She donned a striking gown from the fashion house’s Fall 2014 Haute Couture collection. To ante up the classy, albeit expensive, meter, she wore a pair of gold-tone Aquazzura “Linda” sandals, accessorized with Vita Fede and Anita Ko jewelry, and carried a Vivier clutch bag.

2. Dianna Agron in lace and pleated chiffon frock

As for the ‘Glee’ actress, she wore a stunning lace gown with a pleated chiffon skirt. The bodice of the gown is completely see-through. Unlike Jennifer, who opted for gold-tone accessories, Dianna sported a pair of jade green Charlotte Olympia “Ursula” sandals and carried a gunmetal black Bottega Veneta “Intercciato” mesh clutch. She also kept up with the whimsical theme of the dress and styled her hair with a headband.

Who do you think wore their ankle-baring dress better? We think they’re both excellently dressed, but Jennifer Lawrence won by a narrow margin. The color of the sheer fabric used on the bodice of Dianna Agron’s gown is a little jarring.

But tell us what you think. Do you agree with our pick?
