Emma Watson isn’t just admired for her beauty and talent, but also for her commitment to making the world a better place to live in. Aside from being an outspoken feminist, the actress has also been taking steps to erase her carbon footprint.
During the press tour of her latest film “Beauty and the Beast,” Emma decided to wear all eco-friendly outfits. The actress worked with her stylist to create stunning ensembles that proved celebrities can still look glamorous while wearing sustainable fashion. She also created an Instagram account — @the_press_tour — to showcase the details she wore on her appearances.
Here are five of our favorite dresses from her press tour.
1. Louis Vuitton
This custom Louis Vuitton dress designed by Nicolas Ghesquire is made from recycled plastic bottles. The fabric is called Newlife recycled polyester, and is sourced, processed and spun in Italy.
2. Emilia Wickstead
Emma looked like a true Disney princess in a stunning Emilia Wickstead bespoke gown at the London premiere of her film. This off-the-shoulder piece is made from surplus fabric from a family-run, London-based fabric business. It was also created by an all-female team.

This custom Dior organza gown, reminiscent of Belle’s gorgeous yellow ball gown, was created from certified organic silk. The dress also came with a matching hooded cape, similar to that of Belle’s.
We love this Givenchy organic silk black gown, which features lovely details on both back and front. Emma also carried a Bottletop zero-deforestation, Amazonian leather clutch and fair trade jewelry from Ana Khouri.

5. Elie Saab
While this Elie Saab gown has a lot of fabric, the 15 meters of embroidered tulle, 5 meters of illusion tulle and 4 meters of crepe georgette silk are all leftover fabric sourced from a previous Elie Saab Haute Couture Collection. The beautiful gown features stunning embroidery and sequin details.
