Aside from the gorgeous winter white dresses that we featured in our last post, there were also several outstanding dresses that we spotted on the red carpet of this year’s American Music Awards.

1. Taylor Swift in Julien Macdonald
Taylor amped up the sexy in a golden sparkling minidress by Julien Macdonald. The hiked up hemline emphasized the singer’s best asset — her long and lean legs, which were further sexified by a pair of strappy Jimmy Choo “Madison” sandals.

She finished the look with va-va-voom hair that was perfect for the ensemble.

2. Jennifer Hudson in Christian Dior
Bright colors can be hard to pull off, but Jennifer Hudson seemed to have no problem doing so. The curvy singer totally rocked a neon number by Christian Dior.

The eye-catching dress featured a high-low hemline and a peekaboo neon pink lining. J-Hud added a bold and fun detail to her look with electric blue eyeliner.

3. Heidi Klum in Marchesa
We’re a bit on the fence about Heidi’s red carpet look because of the rather unappealing fringe bottom of her Marchesa Spring 2014 dress.
If it weren’t for that bit of detail, we would have loved the sheer lace dress. What do you think?

4. Jordin Sparks in Jovani Couture
Jordin looked like a gorgeous glamazon girl in a stud-embellished Jovani Couture dress.
The bodice of this halterneck frock is bedecked with countless gold-tone studs, and its skirt has a sexy thigh-high slit. Jordin added fierceness to the look with her high braided ponytail and caged Schutz heels.

5. Rihanna in Jean Paul Gaultier
