2013 is the Year of the Water Snake. For those of you whose wardrobes are predominantly dark-colored, you can rejoice because the Water Snake’s top-related color is black!
According to Chinese horoscopes, black is the color of the abyss, night, space and deep waters. This symbolizes unexpected changes and instability so it’s important to be cautious and to evaluate everything before taking any actions in the Year of the Black Water Snake.
This is in contrast with how fashion people view the color black — you all know how black has always been fashion’s go-to color and how an all-black outfit is the insta-chic uniform.
But oh well, it’s another good reason to stick to our favorite black pieces so we’re taking it!
