John Legend and girlfriend Christine Teigen (of Thai-Norweigan heritage, just FYI) hit Club SI Swimsuit hosted by Vanity last Thursday:

John Legend is clearly the bigger star here, but a pretty young thing like Chrissy Teigen could always steal the spotlight, especially in this bright violet and body-hugging Herve Leger dress:

Okay, wait: John Legend and Chrissy Teigen ARE at the Club SI Swimsuit party, which, as you can see from the banner, is a Sports Illustrated event.

Chrissy Teigen here IS a Sports Illustrated model (she made her debut in the magazine’s annual swimsuit issue in 2010), so maybe for this particular photo op, Chrissy Teigen IS the bigger star and NOT John Legend.

It must be nice to have the media attention all on you instead of your famous singer-boyfriend for once!

Herve Leger is practically the uniform for models everywhere. For the Club SI Swimsuit party, Chrissy Teigen chose this Herve Leger geometric jacquard dress:

This dress is a good choice if you plan to make your first Herve Leger purchase. Its bright violet and pink colors make it stand out from other Herve Leger dresses so you won’t look like a Herve Leger clone.

Another good thing about it is that it still looks like a Herve Leger dress. So no “is she or isn’t she wearing the real thing” questions for you; you certainly wouldn’t want to be asked that, especially if you’ll pay the $1,950.00 retail price for this dress.
