Here are 12 of the best Halloween costumes of 2016.

1.  Leona Lewis

Leona Lewis and her date received metallic makeovers with their statue-like costumes. The singer was almost unrecognizable with her head-to-toe golden look.

Ariel Winter donned several costumes for Halloween but our favorite is her “Easy A” ensemble. She showed off her va-va-voom curves as Olive Penderghast in a corset, hot pants and platform heels.

8. Bette Midler

The amazing Bette Midler gave everyone a bit of nostalgia as she brought back iconic character Winifred Sanderson in “Hocus Pocus.” Rumors are also swirling around that Bette is pushing for a sequel to the classic film. We’d definitely love to see that!

12. Heidi Klum

Supermodel Heidi Klum has been dubbed as the Queen of Halloween in our books because she never fails to wow us with her costumes year after year. Heidi once again won Halloween with a clone posse that followed her around the whole night. According to makeup effects artist Mike Marino, who applied prosthetics to Heidi’s clones, the whole ensemble cost around $10 million!
