In March 2013, our favorite television queen, Lena Headey, attended the TCL Chinese Theater looking peachy for The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ presentation of An Evening With “Game of Thrones.”

Lena, who played the stylish and scheming Cersei Lannister in the hit HBO television series Game of Thrones, chose to go for an unexpected accessory– a peach scarf wrapped around her neck.

The Transformation for the Role: Lena’s Blonde Wig and Pregnancy

Lena Headey had to wear a blonde wig while playing Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones, as her natural hair color is brown.

She was pregnant with her first child, Wylie Elliot Loughran, during the filming of Season 1 of Game of Thrones. Some scenes had to be filmed with her standing behind furniture or other actors blocking her stomach.

While her younger co-stars Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner opted for dressier options with cocktail dresses, Lena Headey showed a more carefree style in her striped black and white dress, an orange IRO ‘Ashville’ biker jacket, and black booties.

It was a nice way to break from her usual polished style, and we love how she wore the python print scarf for another press conference and the jacket earlier while running errands.

If you want to try your hand with a similar scarf, check out Club Monaco’s gauzy ‘Isabel’ scarf. It comes in plain apricot, with no python print, but we think it can achieve the same effect:
