Both gowns are stunning. Carly Rae Jepsen chose a strapless creation by Australian designer Johanna Johnson. We love the elaborate floral pattern on the shiny dress, and the sweetheart neckline highlights Carly’s beautiful shoulders.

Taylor Swift chose a sheer gown by J. Mendel. We’re crazy over the Art Deco inspiration. The see-through panels are unexpectedly risque for Swift’s girl next door image, and we say that’s a good thing.
