With the Duchess of Cambridge embarking on yet another year of royal appearances, motherhood, and being the wife of Prince William (no biggie), we’ve decided to take a look back at the year that highlighted Kate Middleton’s flawless red carpet moments. We’re not sure how much is Kate’s selection and how much is her styling team, but regardless — we like what we see!

Also make sure to check out part 1 to see the rest of Kate Middleton’s best dress moments!

12. Cinched-Waist Dress

Kate looked simple and elegant in a tea-length cinched-waist dress. The Duchess was only an estimated two months pregnant in these photos, so a baby bump was not visible yet.

13. Flirty Wrap Dress

It can be hard to make gray look fun, but we think Kate did a great job styling her colorless frock here. The Duchess chose a flirty wrap dress paired with a simple set of black pumps.

14. Reddish Brown Tone Coat

Kate Middleton did a 180 from Queen Elizabeth’s colorful style by choosing a coat in a reddish brown tone — a risk for a brunette. However, we think Kate managed to look glorious in it. In fact, we think this coat actually makes her hair look fabulous.

15. Green Coat Dress

Even the Royals wear green for Saint Patrick’s Day! Kate gamely wore a green coat dress with a black headpiece to commemorate St. Paddy’s Day with her husband, Prince William. And who can forget the moment when Kate’s heel got stuck in the pavement? There’s nothing cute about getting your heel caught in anything, but for some reason, Kate managed to be adorable despite the incident. It’s far from the worst shoe disaster we’ve seen!

16. Black Dress With Peter Pan Collar

Kate channeled her inner Alexa Chung in a black dress with a white Peter Pan collar and slightly puffed-up sleeves. The royal couple visited one of Prince William’s chosen charities, Child Bereavement UK, to gather around eight parents who have lost their children. Prince William, together with his brother, Prince Harry, also underwent child bereavement counseling after the loss of their mother, Princess Diana, in a Paris car crash.

On a somewhat rare occasion, Kate was seen accompanying her grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II, paying a visit to the Baker Street subway station to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the London Underground. It was quite peculiar to see the royal family inside one of the trains, especially with Kate looking every bit like a princess.

18. Girl Scout Outfit

This is, again, not a dress moment, but we couldn’t help it: Kate Middleton roughed it up at a campsite and dressed up like a Girl Scout in a Barbour jacket, looking totally adorable. No further explanations needed.

Because all members of the royal family dress up in plaid to an official palace event and manage to still epitomize class and sophistication. All of them.

Kate Middleton showed up at a charity ball in a black laser-cut dress by Alice Temperley, managing to make a little black dress appropriate for a royal.

21. Roland Mouret Gown

This was definitely Kate’s 2013 red carpet highlight, ironically using a dress that she had worn out in public before. The Duchess arrived at the premiere of “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” in her recycled — but still gorgeous — Roland Mouret dress. She wore her hair in a classic ponytail this time, which we think is a vast improvement from her previous look.

Nothing says “princess” more than skirts you can barely walk in. Kate repeated another dress by a trusted designer, this time opting to slip into a gorgeous Alice Temperley gown on the same day that the designer gushed about the Duchess to the local media. Kate wore the dress with the same accessories, but this time sans the curls and the umbrella.
