The 2017 Billboard Music Awards were all about the music, of course, but we have to admit we were paying a bit more attention to the fashion. This year’s pink carpet offered a host of looks — most revealing a fair amount of skin.
There were a few who really got it right but there were more who missed the mark. See who made it to our best and worst-dressed list.
Up first, the best-dressed.
1. Kate Beckinsale

The 43-year-old was appropriately-dressed in a stunning Zuhair Murad Spring 2017 creation that boasted of an exploding fireworks print and plunging neckline.
2. Vanessa Hudgens

The 28-year-old made a statement in a Marchesa Fall 2017 gown adorned with large bows. The gown also exposed the actress’ toned legs and afforded us a view of the Jimmy Choo “Lance” sandals she was wearing.
3. Celine Dion

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the mega hit movie “Titanic,” Celine Dion serenaded everyone with the classic theme from the movie, “My Heart will Go On.” Clad in a Stephane Rolland haute couture gown with architectural sleeves and “wings,” the veteran singer made the magenta carpet her very own cat walk.
4. Hailee Steinfeld

This see-through David Koma midi dress was a good choice for the singer, who partnered it with thigh-high boots and smokey eyes.
5. Lindsey Stirling

The 30-year-old violinist took the classy route in this cape-sleeved lace gown with embroidery details on the sides and sleeves.
Now, the worst-dressed.
1. Olivia Munn

We suppose the newly-divorced host wanted to make a point in this dress, but it just made her look tacky and cheap.
2. Nicole Scherzinger

The singer might have landed in some best-dressed list, but we think this Maria Lucia Hohan gown gave the illusion that the singer wasn’t wearing a top. We’re not too keen about the exhausted ruffled detailing as well.
3. Lea Michele

We previously featured the singer wearing this David Koma see-through dress. We haven’t changed our opinion. We still think she tried too hard.
4. Alexandra Daddario

For such a beautiful young lady, this Vivienne Westwood was an ugly choice. It looks matronly. She even wore the wrong accessories.
5. Rita Ora

This Francesco Scognamiglio dress, which was supposedly a nod to Cher, might have been a little too high-fashion for an event such as the BMAs. We couldn’t get past the see-through skirt either.
