Meet the Top 10 Dress Bloggers of January 2014

January kicked off 2014 to a great start, with many of our favorite bloggers gussying up for a fancy New Year’s Eve party. It isn’t surprising at all to find that the rest of this month has gone by in a blur of gorgeous dresses.

And although most people were snowed in during the better half of this month, we still saw quite an ample supply of stunning frocks. Here are our 10 best-dressed bloggers for January:

1. Ricarda from Germany

Ricarda

German blogger Ricarda showcased a midi fit-and-flare dress to perfection. This grid- and floral-printed dress epitomized the aesthetic of the brand it came from: Mary Katrantzou. We have always been huge fans of Mary Katrantzou’s whimsical and surreal landscape prints, and to see it worn off the runway is a joy to behold.

2. Elizabeth from United States

Elizabeth

Just when we thought we are over the plaid dress trend already, fashion blogger and student Elizabeth gave us this — a vintage dress evoking so many emotions, including, but not limited to, envy. We just wish we have as much luck in finding amazing plaid vintage dresses.

3. Connie from Australia

Connie

We are witnesses to Connie’s sartorial journey, and we have to say that she makes excellent dress choices. If she’s not in her Three Floor cutout and structured dresses, she can be seen in more ethereal frocks, such as this Alice McCall “Orpheus” maxi dress.

4. Catie from Washington

Catie

We were transported back to the ’80s when fun and prismatic prints were ubiquitous and dress silhouettes allow the baring of some skin. Catie’s off-shoulder vintage find is a sure stunner.

5. Cissy from Australia

Cissy

The little white dress has the power to make an outfit look fresh, summery, and clean, particularly if there’s very minimal styling involved. We can’t help but be drawn to this kind of aesthetic, especially after seeing so many little white dresses on the runway for spring and summer. Take a cue from Australia-based blogger Cissy and her refreshing summer outfit.

6. Katerina from Moscow

Katerina

We don’t have to see much of Katerina’s dress to fall in love with it. It’s the quintessential F/W style. The painting-like print and the contrasting collar of the dress are just but two of the reasons why we love this look.

7. Cammy from Malopolskie

Cammy

Expect to see more voluminous dresses this season. Frocks with box pleats are current, but they exude a classic vibe at the same time. Take a look at Cammy’s dress. We love its solid hue and flattering structure.

8. Amy from United Kingdom

Amy

Amy2

Are you a fan of the Mrs Pomeranz brand of dresses? So are we. And, apparently, so is UK-based fashion blogger Amy. Her adorable tea-length dress can cure any winter malady in a jiffy.

9. Crystal from Johannesburg

Crystal

We love stripes. No matter what season or what occasion, stripes always seem to be a sterling choice. But we love Crystal’s Henry Holland x Mr Price dress even more with its colorful stripes. It’s just the perfect dress to lift away any lingering blues you are feeling because of the cold weather.

10. Yolanda from Canada

Yolanda

We have seen our fair share of houndstooth-printed dresses, but we just had to include Yolanda’s look. Not only did she have on one of the cutest houndstooth-printed dresses we’ve seen in a while, but she also wore it well — styling it with a turtleneck sweater and leggings to make it appropriate for this season.

We wish we could go on and on about the dresses we have spotted on bloggers this month, but we’ll have to cut our list short at 10. We hope you liked this month’s picks. Until the end of February!
