Bella Thorne shocked the paparazzi, fans, and onlookers alike as she arrived on the red carpet looking years beyond her 15-year-old self.

The Disney princess showed up at the InStyle Summer Soiree sans her usual ultra-femme hairdo, makeup, and bright flouncy florals.

Bella opted for a suit dress by Emporio Armani, which showcased colors and textures that may have been a bit too wise beyond the actress’ years.

While sweet Bella will always look gorgeous in our eyes (as long as she can avoid the curse of the Disney child star a la Hilary Duff), we have to admit we’ve seen better days. The silhouette of the suit dress complimented Bella’s physique.

However, the colors didn’t quite complement her bright young face and red-toned golden locks. The red lipstick also made the color palette in this look all the more disastrous.

A bold choice, Bella, but this dress probably belongs to the likes of the more mature-looking women such as Miranda Kerr. Nonetheless, we give you an A for effort for trying to break out of your shell.

The dress in itself is lovely, with its faint jacquard print on satin complemented by the violet satin lapels. We absolutely adore the rounded hem echoed by the almost-cap sleeves and the rounded cut at the yoke.

Of course, the most genius contrast is that it was cut out to mimic a suit, putting the much-needed edge to balance out all the feminine elements.

Armani definitely does it again for us. A bit of warning, though: this dress suit is not for the faint-hearted.
