For many years, Ashley Tisdale suffered from a deviated septum, meaning one nasal passage is smaller than the other. In some cases, it can make it difficult to sing. In November 2017, she had a rhinoplasty procedure (nose job) in Los Angeles to fix her functional breathing problem.

“I was completely scared. I wasn’t looking forward to the surgery at all. I actually had trouble sleeping for a week before,” Tisdale said about the five-hour procedure that removed a lot of cartilage and caused her nose to change shape.

According to Mayo Clinic, 70 to 80 percent of people have a septal deviation. In most cases, a deviated septum causes minor symptoms and doesn’t require treatment.

“Growing up I always knew I had a deviated septum on the right side of my nose, which caused trouble breathing,” the High School Musical star told People in an interview.

“The older I got, the worse it got. I went to get it checked out, and the doctor told me the septum was 80 percent deviated and that I had two small fractures on my nose.”

“I’m not feeling great today. It’s uncomfortable and I hope this is the only time I ever have to go through something like this,” she added.

“I didn’t do this because I believe in plastic surgery. I did this to help my health. I literally almost could not breathe out of the right side of my nose.”

“I want my fans to know the truth. I’m not someone who is going to act like I had nothing done. I just want to be honest because my fans are everything to me,” Tisdale said about being open about her nose job.

In July 2011, Ashley Tisdale looked blue and blonde while attending the Phineas and Ferb Comic-Con Press Conference in San Diego. And by blue and blonde, we mean literally.

The blonde-again actress had on a blue and white strapless number for the event.

As for the hair, we have actually lost count on the number of times Ashley has switched from being blonde to brunette, to blonde again, but we truly don’t mind since she looks good in both anyway. That said, let’s take a step back and talk about that blue dress:
