We’re still reeling from the sheer beauty of some of the red carpet gowns we’ve seen from this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards. Year after year, the award show’s red carpet teems with haute couture class and this year isn’t an exception.
The following are some of our favorites.
1. Kristen Bell in Zuhair Murad

We’ve probably seen all the plunging neckline, floral ball gowns the fashion industry has to offer, but this Zuhair Murad dress from the brand’s Fall 2016 couture collection still has a place in this particular design niche. This dress, complete with stunning floral print, is a show-stopper and Kristen Bell looks like she had so much fun wearing it.
2. Michelle Dockery in Oscar de la Renta

It’s the last year for the popular British drama Downton Abbey, and lead actress Michelle Dockery pulled out all the stops in this tiered Oscar de la Renta gown from the brand’s Resort 2017 collection. It’s a saccharine confection teamed up with a pair of Stuart Weitzman “Nudist” sandals.
3. Olivia Culpo in Zac Posen

Doesn’t this Zac Posen dress remind you of fairy lights from afar? Or tiny stars on a clear, cloudless night? It’s so festive, but unique in that it veered away from the usual floor-length gowns that saturated the night.
4. Claire Danes in Schiaparelli

When in doubt, wear gold. According to the actress, she hadn’t seen her planned Emmys dress up until the minutes before the event. She’s lucky it fit her like a glove and the gold was a no-brainer.

Emily showed off her figure in this eggplant-colored mermaid-style dress from Zac Posen, which featured a structured bodice.

Can you believe that tiny waist? It was all we could see from this Atelier Versace almost-nude creation. It’s actually blush toned in real life, and looked really striking on the Game of Thrones actress.
7. Maisie Williams

We can totally count on this teenage actress to rock whatever she’s wearing. This floral tea-length dress was just perfect for her playful vibe. We love the statement eye shadow too!

We’re thinking this Georges Chakra couture gown is more suitable for a wedding, but it’s stunning nonetheless. It’s quite the frothy and whimsical dress.
