10 Dresses You Wish You Wore Before the Clock Struck Midnight (Part 1)

Every girl has, at least once in her life, dreamt of her perfect Cinderella fairytale moment. You know what we mean — gorgeous gown, glass slipper, Prince Charming — pretty much the works. Luckily, we spotted 10 fashion bloggers who created their own Cinderella moment for all of netizens to see, except that they probably skipped out on involving a fairy godmother and pumpkins. Also, we can’t say for certain whether a Prince Charming was involved, but one thing is for sure — these girls looked fantastic. Also make sure to check out part 2!

One thing Cinderella’s wicked stepsisters did not think about doing was dousing their dresses with gold accents and wearing them with thigh-high slits. Had they thought of it sooner, they probably would have gotten ample attention from men without needing to be wicked to poor Cinderella. Pair your gorgeous black-and-gold mermaid dress with strappy black sandal heels to get that instant glamazona look.

While Cinderella didn’t exactly go for a simple look (glass slippers, anyone?), we think she totally would have still been the belle of the ball in a lovely black-and-white halter dress. Who needs a huge skirt when you can show off your lovely shoulders with a few bejeweled accents? (Don’t get us wrong, though; we are obsessed with huge skirts).

Cinderella should take a little cue from Ariel by trying to diversify her look with a fully beaded mermaid dress. Pull off a black-on-black look by playing with different textures, such as glass beads, chiffon, and velvet. Grab a sparkly champagne clutch to add a little contrast to the ensemble.

Had the fairy godmother had a bit more romance in her, we totally think she would have considered giving Cinderella a lace dress such as this one. Play around with black, nude, and white lace to give yourself an upgrade from the monotone lace dresses.
